FACTS ABOUT WOOL

• Wool products can be aired instead of washed. Wool is bacteriostatic, and dirt usually does not penetrate the fibres, but settles on the outside. The wool fibres are made up of a number of air pockets, which are carriers of dirt, odours, moisture and the like from the body or from the outside, and this is removed by simply airing in fresh air for a couple of hours.
