The mattress is made to standard measurements of cages. The top side is 100% wool, and the underside is water-repellent textile. The mattress is padded in the middle, and has elevated edges made of foam rubber. The foam rubber "noodle" can be taken out when you want to wash the mattress cover, with a zipper running across the entire outer edge. The mattress is similar to the "dog's favorite bed" (wool mattress with heightened edges).
