Canelana is a Norwegian brand with the ambition to be a trendsetter and the customers' first choice for wool products for dogs, horses, and owners.
Wool is central to much of what we create. Wool provides warmth even when wet, breathes, and insulates well – qualities that make the material particularly well-suited for both humans and animals.
Our values are reflected in everything we do. We value animal welfare, nature, respect and care for all living things, honesty, and quality.
Our products
Our goal is to develop functional and comfortable products, and many of our items are made from pure merino wool.
Among the products our customers appreciate most, you will find wool dog coats, dog beds, and our popular wool jackets for dog handlers.
Wool is a natural product and a great alternative to synthetic materials like polyester and fleece. With Canelana wool, both you and your dog get products that help retain heat, even in cold and damp weather.
Our products are designed in Norway and sewn in Poland. As an EU country, Poland follows strict regulations regarding production conditions and animal welfare. The wool comes from EU countries, primarily Germany and Poland, while the yarn for our knitted products is Italian.
Our product range has evolved significantly over time. Today, we produce not only wool beds, wool coats, and wool jackets, but also training vests, softshell jackets for dog handlers, gaiters, trousers, socks, mittens, hats, and reflective vests and training vests for dogs.
In short: functional products for both two-legged and four-legged friends – made with a focus on warmth, comfort, quality, and an active everyday life.
From a small start to a well-known Norwegian brand
The history of Canelana
Canelana was established in 2013 and started completely from scratch. Today, more than ten years later, it is with both humility and joy that we see Canelana has become a natural first choice for many.
Throughout the years, we have grown steadily, and today we have retailers all over the country who help make Canelana and our products known to an increasing number of people.
In the summer of 2021, we moved into our current premises at Hjuksebø Næringspark, Bryggevegen 23, 3683 Notodden. Here we have a large warehouse, but no shop with set opening hours.
It is, however, possible to stop by to see, try, and purchase our products by appointment. Since we are not always present at the warehouse, we ask that you contact Une by phone at 977 42 706 to arrange a time.

Many of our products have been developed based on ideas, requests, and feedback from customers and partners. We greatly appreciate your engagement and encourage you to continue sharing tips, ideas, requests, praise, and constructive criticism with us.
You can find us at Hjuksebø Næringspark, Bryggevegen 23, N-3683 Notodden. This is where we have our warehouse and where we spend our working days, and although we do not have set retail opening hours, it is possible to stop by to see, try, and purchase products by appointment.
